The invitations went out in plenty of time and a whole host of local Herefordshire Women in Business turned up for Brinsop’s first event in our newly renovated banqueting hall and library. Hosted by the local Harrison Clark office the first guests started arriving at 6.00ish. Although it was extraordinarily dark, we’d got some lanterns up around our newly created car park and various volunteers out with torches and it all added to the atmosphere. The newly erected signs by local company Sign Rite helped point out the way too.

Upstairs the banqueting hall had been decorated with three gorgeous Christmas trees, lots of candles and flowers and the wow factor score was 10 out 10!

The Library and Banqueting Hall are available to hire along with the accommodation, so for the full conditions and pricing, please get in touch.

The ladies were offered the most delicate of canapés along with their wine and soft drinks and as well as greeting old friends and acquaintances there was an opportunity to enjoy a superb exhibition of sculptures created by a local artist, Ann Campbell and listen to a duet of violins playing.

In aid of a local charity the Little Princess Trust , the raffle prizes were gorgeous and included jugs of locally grown flowers from Wiggly Wigglers as well as a box of cupcakes from One Jolly Girl and lots of Hobsons’ beer. Kate Bliss was on hand to tell the guests about the charity and encourage more sales of raffle tickets and Pat, Brinsop’s owner explained to the audience how and why she’d bought the estate.

All too soon the evening came to an end. Everyone was encouraged to have a wander around Bailey House and left soon after 8.00 clutching their goody bags and bunches of mistletoe harvested from the estate.

So, if you have an event that you want to host in the most extraordinarily atmospheric and stunning surroundings, maybe Brinsop would suit you. Give us a call and we can show you round and have a chat about what you are wanting to create.
