Brinsop Court Estate, recently named as one of the top wedding venues in the world by Condé Nast Brides magazine, is to open its gates and will host a Woodland Walk in its stunning grounds, in aid of mental health charity Herefordshire Mind on Monday 6 May 2019. This event is the first of many planned during the year to support the Hereford charity.
Everyone is welcome – even friendly, four-legged friends on leads – to enjoy a 4 mile walk through the beautiful 250-acre woodland and soak up the breath-taking scenery which surrounds Brinsop Court.
For those looking for a shorter but no less enjoyable ramble, there will also be an alternative 2.5m woodland route signposted too. A fun, children’s Nature Hunt will also be available with a small prize for every entry.
Walkers are encouraged to bring their own picnics to enjoy afterwards in the gardens of the manor house. Refreshments will also be served in aid of Herefordshire Mind.
Entry to the Woodland Walk is completely free, however donations to Herefordshire Mind would be greatly appreciated to help fund its much-needed work in the county.
Mike Lowe, General Manager at Brinsop Court said, “This is the first time the grounds of Brinsop have been open to the public in this way, so we do ask people to come along, enjoy a fun day and really lend their support to a local charity at the same time.”
David Harding, Support & Development Manager at Herefordshire Mind said, “We are very grateful to Brinsop Court for opening their estate. It is only through the support of individuals and organisations that we are able to continue our work supporting some of the most vulnerable in our community.”
