Brinsop keeps its five star ratings
Ray Charles said “I never wanted to be famous, I only wanted to be great” and this is a maxim that Brinsop Court shares.
Brinsop Court is Herefordshire’s hidden secret and many of our guests want to keep us that way – secret. As Brinsop Court becomes more and more well known, it becomes harder for guests to find the manor house available for their special occasions and events. And whilst the team would never turn down the opportunity to be famous, much more of our energy goes into being great.
Our reviews on Trip Advisor continue to reflect that people are bowled over by how great Brinsop is. We share some of our latest below:-
“A fairy tale come true”
[5 of 5 stars] Reviewed April 30, 2015
I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely country manor in April for a birthday celebration/family reunion. Upon our arrival, spring was bursting into bloom all across the 800 acre estate, swans were swimming in the moat and the stunning views went all the way to Wales. When we entered the manor house, it literally took my breath away--it is spectacular! From the decked out gourmet kitchens (all four of which boast AGA ranges and top of the line appliances) to the modern bathrooms with all the amenities, life at Brinsop could not be more perfect. The beds were super comfy and dressed in the highest quality linens. Then there is the banquet hall--right out of a medieval story book. Every detail has been carefully considered and the owner and concierge were delightful. Brinsop would be the most picture perfect place for a destination fairy tale wedding or any other excuse to come here. On a five star scale, this place deserves a six!
“Wedding Weekend at Brinsop”
[5 of 5 stars] Reviewed April 10, 2015
We have nothing but high praise for Brinsop whether it is the location, facilities, quality or the service we received. We and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed our stay. How could we not; the house and location is absolutely stunning and the quality of the facilities is 5*. Nothing was too much trouble from the Brinsop staff who went out of their way to make everything perfect for us and the little touches were most definitely the icing on the cake, literally. In all honesty we cannot find fault or think of anything that would have improved on the Brinsop experience. If you are considering booking Brinsop we highly recommend you do in the certainty that you won't be disappointed.... far from it.
“Quality and history all in one”
[5 of 5 stars] Reviewed March 15, 2015
We recently attended the wedding of friends at Brinsop Court and stayed the weekend.
What a charming and warm place it is, brimming with historical characteristics and yet still including modern amenities such as wifi etc. We were made to feel welcome the minute we walked in the door by the staff who made my medical assistance dog feel at home too. We are looking for a wedding venue ourselves and this is now on the top of our list, either way we will be back.
“Quite simply an extraordinarily amazing and memorable experience”

Brinsop Court was chosen as the venue for our wedding and my 50th birthday party over the same w/e. Our extended family and friends totalling over sixty people came to experience the Brinsop "journey" - one which is made up of understated luxury, opulence and terrific comfort. Huge, beautifully appointed bedrooms became the most wonderful sanctuaries from the great family parties and as for the medieval banqueting hall for the big set piece bits, well frankly one simply needs to actually see this room to believe it. Fab team on site, fab location nestling in the bucolic Herefordshire hills and fab memories afterwards - money in the bank that!
