It made it to the barn. It nearly didn’t. After the most ridiculously wet summer, the wheat we had standing in the fields was looking very sad and sorry for itself. Shrivelled and struggling, it valiantly stood up to those atrocious elements until the day the combine saved it.

harvest at brinsop court herefordshire20% down on last year's yield has meant we all might pay more for our food but it has been a close call on many farmers who were glad to see those big beasts of machines gather anything at all. We have been so lucky at Brinsop and it is all down to a great contractor and fastidious land agent.
