On the 14th March 2018 the world said good night to quite an amazing man.

Professor Stephen Hawking, a British scientist, known for his outstanding work surrounding the cosmos and black holes, sadly passed away at the age of 76 peacefully at his home in Cambridge, after living with a rare form of motor neurone disease for over 50 years.

We feel very honoured to have met and hosted such an amazing individual here at Brinsop Court, and we will miss seeing him here at Brinsop Court, enjoying and experiencing the house and grounds, as if it was his own home.

The owner of Brinsop Court, Pat Churchward, spoke to Andrew Easton from the BBC Hereford and Worcester to remember the amazing man, and speak about all the special times he spent here at Brinsop Court with his team of researchers and fellow scientists!

A brilliant, inspirational and funny gentleman, thank you Stephen.
