Brinsop is the perfect Manor wedding venue and so much more! Think flower petals on the grass as a swan glides across the moat, the sounds of clinking glasses ringing out from the house, photographs in the woodland as the sun sets during golden hour, dancing under the stars with everyone you love.
You’ll have exclusive use of the entire 800-acre estate, including the 14th Century Manor House wrapped by water, our picturesque grounds, farmhouse cottages and traditional barn, The Knot.

Getting Ready
Retreat with a close friend, put your feet up in front of the wood-burning fire and unwind in the hot tub with a glass of something bubbly. Located just a short walk from the house, our Ivy & Wood Cottages are the ideal place to spend the night before your big day.
For your partner, our Butterfly Suite is reserved exclusively which includes access to our hot tub, tennis courts and snooker room.
The next morning, awake feeling refreshed as the rest of your bridal party arrive at the cottage.
Once ready, head to the house for those all-important final wedding preparations in our beautiful bridal suite, The French Room.
The Ceremony
Whether a blessing or civil ceremony, you have the choice to take your vows amongst an array of locations.
Within the manor, the Elizabethan Library, Queen Anne Dining Room and Medieval Banqueting Hall bring a touch of regal sophistication. In the grounds, The Knot Barn has verdant views across the hills.
If the weather is on your side, our Ancient Courtyard, Wordsworth Lawn, Astley Pergola and sun-dappled Woodland are truly magical spots.
The nearby Brinsop Church, St George’s, is also less than five minutes away.
The Reception
Now for the celebrations! With your ceremony over, you and your guests will be ready to mingle amongst refreshments, and wow do we have some locations for you. Absorb beautiful Brinsop as a married couple surrounded by natural wildlife and a glistening moat – perfect for everlasting photography.
Fizz & Feast
Your wedding meal, shared with friends and family, is a special part of the day. Enjoy delicious food followed by champagne toasts. Our dining spaces are impressive yet inviting in the Banqueting Hall or The Knot Barn.
All linen, cutlery, crockery, glassware, tables and chairs are included. Your daytime food is managed by our sole caterers and in the evening they hand over to us at Brinsop.
Party in The Knot Barn
Travel across the oak boardwalk, under the wooden pergolas to arrive at the barn.
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the sunset over Herefordshire’s hills as the evening draws in. Inside, our feature bar has an impressive menu of draft ales and gin, ready to warm your guests up for a night on the dance floor. Whether you choose a live band or a DJ, it’s sure to be a party that won’t be forgotten.
As the festivities continue, we have fire pits and a pizza oven to keep your guests toasty and refuelled outside.

“When we visited Brinsop, the beauty of the surroundings and the Knot Barn stole our heart. We were truly lucky with the weather, allowing us to have Brinsop’s first outdoor wedding of the year and it was beautiful. Daisy and the team couldn’t have been more helpful without being intrusive. When my brother came came down with covid on the day of the wedding, they did what they could to allow him to FaceTime so he was still there in some way. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, changing the seating plan last minute and also sorting his room booking. The team at Brinsop really are a credit to them and make it much more than just a beautiful venue.“
