The Farm

Surrounding Brinsop, you can freely enjoy a place undisturbed by public footpaths. Our working farm is ideal for an afternoon’s wander, studded with woodlands, fields of crops and a 14 acre perry pear orchard.

Be prepared to come across sheep, lambs, ponies, horses and the occasional tractor or combine.

Make your own way over the rolling hills and along the lush hedgerows, or try one of our trails, named after founders daughters. Follow the signs for Harriet, Alice, Molly and Florrie’s routes, which can be taken together or individually, it’s completely up to you.

The moat encircling the house is home to a number of carp and trout. A little further afield is Harlands Pool, which has shyer fish and offers a more challenging sport. If you arrive without rods, we can lend our equipment.
