We are a small team here headed up by Pat, the owner who is a very hands on managing director with bucket loads of energy and enthusiasm for Brinsop Court and its guests.  Pat doesn’t rest on her laurels but is a huge advocate of continuous improvement and Brinsop Court is a testament to that attribute.

Pat has recruited a strong team around her who not only support her and her aims and objectives for Brinsop; but also ensure that they work together as a team and can cover each other’s roles and responsibilities.

So whilst everyone can do everything some can do some of it better than others!

Jonathan is House Manager and as such is chief fix it man for Brinsop and its guests. He can turn his hand to anything from getting an AGA to play ball through to sorting out the fishing rods for guests to using his carpentry skills or installing a new hot tub!  He is on hand for our guests virtually 24/7 and his knowledge of the history of Brinsop is second to none. Jonathan is usually the person our guests meet when they arrive at Brinsop and the person who waves them goodbye at the end of their stay.

Lorina is Office Manager and a whizz at keeping the office under control despite the team’s efforts to derail things at times! She is excellent at coming up with innovative and creative ideas to keep the office running efficiently although much of what she does isn’t visible to guests. Wedding coordination is one of Lorina’s key skills with her strength in attention to detail leaving nothing to chance.

Amanda is responsible for Marketing, Social Media, Human Resources and pretty much all the other things that need mopping up in a busy office like ours. She produces blogs, tweets and facebook entries to make sure we manage to stay abreast of modern living while looking after a product that really transports people back to an era of more gracious and elegant times.

Apart from this core team, there are lots of others who are drafted in as and when necessary, including Philip and Julia who help with keeping the gardens looking glorious and the flowers in the house arranged beautifully and John J who is always on hand to help clear up after big parties, bring in the logs for the fires and manage the tough stuff. And of course not forgetting Miles, May, Ann, Dave, Matt, Andrew, Jon!
