In 2020 we completed The Knot Barn, a traditionally built oak barn with a feature bar and magical views over the landscaped gardens and Herefordshire countryside. With floor-to-ceiling windows that open along the whole front of the barn, your barn wedding day can have an al fresco feeling, whatever the time of year. Set within an 800-acre private estate, exclusively yours.

Seats up to 200 for your barn wedding
With a maximum capacity for 200 guests seated on Cheltenham chairs, The Knot Barn works beautifully for both ceremonies and dining. For smaller barn weddings, we can create sections to keep it feeling intimate and perfectly scaled for your group.
The Bar
A feature bar worth celebrating at
Our feature bar has an impressive menu starring draft ales and lager, cider, an array of gins and other spirits, plus a selection of local and regional favourites well worth a try. The bar is card only and can stay open until midnight.
Pizza Oven and Fire Pits
An evening setting like no other
As the dancing continues long into the night, our wood-fired clay pizza oven is the perfect addition. Lounge by the fire pits, stroll the barn gardens, enjoy the outside bar. The Knot Barn effortlessly switches from day reception to evening party.

Frequently asked questions
Is The Knot Barn an exclusive-use barn wedding venue?
Yes. The Knot Barn is always part of an exclusive-use wedding experience at Brinsop Court. The entire estate, including the barn, manor house, cottages and grounds, is reserved solely for your celebration.
How many guests can The Knot Barn hold for a barn wedding?
The Knot Barn seats up to 200 guests for a ceremony and up to 180 guests for a seated wedding breakfast. For evening parties, capacity extends to 250 guests with the addition of a marquee.
Can we use The Knot Barn for both our ceremony and reception?
Yes. The Knot Barn works beautifully for ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening parties. You can also take your vows in the manor house or grounds and use the barn for your reception.
Do you allow dry hire of the barn?
Unfortunately not. We have excellent bar facilities in The Knot Barn and kindly ask that no alcohol is brought onto the estate.
What time does the bar close?
Our bar in The Knot Barn can stay open until midnight. Live music and DJs are both welcome until midnight.
Is there parking at the barn wedding venue?
There is unlimited parking during your stay at Brinsop. All guests should follow the directional signs on arrival.
