‘Our dream Wedding weekend in Herefordshire!’
A Q&A WITH THE COUPLE
When and how did you first meet?
We met in 2017 when we were both working in North Devon.
How long did it take you to plan your Wedding?
It took almost two years.
Who popped the big question/ how did they propose?
Tom popped the question in 2020 when walking up the Malvern Hills. We reached the Worcestershire Beacon and Tom proposed there.
What was your favourite part about your big day?
Ah too many! Getting ready at Brinsop in the morning with all our favourite people staying for the whole weekend. Seeing Tom for the first time in the Church and our first dance in the Knot Barn.
What would you do differently about your Wedding?
Have a longer party and have a later check-out on the Sunday!
Why did you pick Brinsop for your big day?
Local to us in Hereford! The option to have exclusive use, the beautiful grounds, the Knot Barn, Daisy and the many different options!
Ceremony
Located in Breinton Church, under a 30 minute drive from Brinsop and close to Adele and Tom’s home, this Church was their perfect place for them to the tie the knot. Breinton Church was also ideal as it seats around 120 guests, perfect for their numbers.
Drinks Reception
The use of the Courtyard and inside areas was a perfect way to incorporate the September Sun and the inside Games Room Bar. Adele and Tom opted for Beers, Prosecco, Gin and Tonics, Port and a range of soft drinks. They decided to have their Beers in a Tin Bath-tub and Gin on an arranged drinks table.
Wedding Breakfast
Their Wedding Breakfast involved the use of sound system and projector for their speeches, along with floral arrangements on the Bar and tables created by Issy + Belle. They opted for Red and White wines to be served at the tables and also treated their guests to a drinks tab.
The Party
Adele and Tom had their evening party in the Knot Barn. After cutting their Cheese cake, Adele doing a dress change and their first dance, they then danced the night away with their friends and family. They then enjoyed sourdough baps and chips, chosen from our evening menu.

‘We fell in love with Brinsop after viewing many other venues. Being local to Herefordshire we had lots of choice but Brinsop had everything we wanted and more! Beautiful grounds, lots of accommodation, the Knot Barn for our reception and the stunning Manor House to spend the weekend with our nearest and dearest. Daisy was a particular joy in helping our day run smoothly and filled us with reassurance and trust. Our only wish is to have stayed longer! Truly the best weekend and we would do it all over again.’
